Terms & Conditions for online courses and workshops (

Article 1 Definition of terms

 

In these terms and conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:

 

PG: Pauline Greuell registered at the Chamber of commerce under number 61288993 Located in Utrecht, Netherlands.

 

Participant: a person who has a contract or agreement with PG to take part in a course/workshop or online course/workshop or other educational programme.

 

Contract: is a legal agreement between the participant and PG, such as a confirmed registration.

 

Programmes: all types of learning activities offered by PG such as workshops and courses

 

Website or webpage: the whole site or a page of www.paulinegreuell.com

 

Article 2 Applicability
 

2.a. These terms and conditions apply to all contracts effected with PG and to all programmes organized by PG. By registering for or purchasing any programme you thereby agree with these term & conditions.

 

2.b. A specific programme may have additional or deviating terms and conditions.

 

 

Article 3 Conditions for participating

 

3a. To participate in a programme the participant has to be 16 years of age or older. Exceptions to this rule will either be explicitly noted in the programme information or decided upon in consultation with PG and confirmed in writing.

 

3b. Programmes will be conducted in the English language unless explicitly stated in the programme information or decided upon in consultation with participants. Participants should note that they are required to be moderately proficient in the language used in the programme and able to participate in group discussions.

 

3.c. Using verbal, physical or other abuse toward other participants or PG or repeatedly disturbing a programme will result in removing the responsible participant from the programme. He or she will not be entitled to a refund.

 

Article 4 Registration

 

4.a. Registration for any programme can only be done by using provided registration forms on the website, unless stated otherwise in the programme information.

 

 4.b. For registration to any programme your legal full name, valid email address and home address is needed in order to complete the sign-up process.

 

Article 5 Liability

 

5.a. PG makes every reasonable effort to perform on a programme to the best of her knowledge.

 

5.b. Participation in programs takes place entirely at the participant's own risk. PG can in no way be held liable for any damage caused by participation (physical injury or material damage).

 

 

Article 6 Cancellation/postponement/ relocation

 

6.a. If a participant cancels the contract after registration and 2 months prior to (the first date of) the course he/she is entitled to a refund of 50% of the course price. For a cancellation within 2 months of the start of the course full charges apply.

6.b PG has the right to relocate or reschedule (part of) a programme to a different location, date and/or time of day without giving reasons, in which case the client has the right to cancel the relocated or rescheduled programme at no cost.

 

6.c. PG has the right to cancel a programme or refuse participation without giving reasons, in which event the client has the right to a refund of the price paid, or a proportion thereof for the cancelled programme.

 

6.d. If the participant terminates his participation prematurely, misses part of the programme or does not participate in the programme at all, the participant is not entitled to any refunding.

 

6.e. PG reserves the right to withdraw particular courses and to change both the content and pricing of a programme when need arises without prior warning. Participants who have already paid  for a programme will not be subject to any such price increase. Minor changes of programme content will not be considered to affect the cancellation policy.

 

6.f. PG will make reasonable efforts to keep online programmes operational and available to participants at all time. If services are unavailable during online programmes, PG will reschedule (the affected parts of) these programmes. In such occasion participants will be able to (partly) cancel if such rescheduling makes it impossible for them to take part.

 

6.g. The contract is with the person who has made the booking. Should the booking have been made on behalf of someone else, it is their responsibility to pass on all the appropriate information about the course. Any refund requests should come from the person who booked the programme.

 

 

Article 7 Copyright

 

7.a. The ownership and copyright of all material developed by PG remains with PG. You may not lend, rent, lease sublicense or transfer materials used in the programmes (such as but not limited to: recorded videos, written and illustrated course materials and art work).  You may not alter, modify, translate, disassemble or reverse engineer any of these materials.

 

Article 8 Confidentiality

 

8.a. Both parties are obliged to keep secret all confidential information obtained from the other party or from another source within the framework of the contract.

 

Article 9  Supplies

 

9.a.  The price of programmes only includes the programmes themselves and does not include any supplies, unless specifically stated in the programme information. Participants are responsible for acquiring the supplies mentioned in the supply list provided for a programme, before it starts.

 

Article 10  Payment

 

10.a. PG will charge the fees payable by client by means of an invoice or buy purchasing a product on the website. The client must pay the fees owed within 2 weeks of invoice date, but no later than 1 day before the start of the programme, in the manner specified by PG.

 

 

Article 11 Personal data

 

11.a. PG processes the personal data provided by the Client in accordance with the privacy statement of PG.

 

 

Article 12 Applicable law

 

12.a. Every contract between PG and a participant is governed by Dutch law. Disputes arising from contracts to which these terms and conditions are applicable, will be settled by the competent court in Utrecht.

 

 

Article 13 Changes to these terms and conditions

 

13.a. PG is authorized to make changes to these terms and conditions. For participants these conditions apply as they are at the time of filling in the registration form, or signing of a contract.
